“Eat Out, Cut Out and Sewin’”

Sat, October 14, 20179:00 AM

If you like to work on crafts and you like to help people, Presbyterian Women and the Mission Team have just the activity for you. You are cordially invited for an “Eat Out, Cut Out and Sewin’” project on Saturday, October 14, 2017. The morning will begin with breakfast at Perkins at 9:00 am. This will be a time for food, fellowship and of course, caffeine. Following breakfast we will travel to the church (Step- Down Room) where we will cut out and possibly sew “clothing protectors” for four-area nursing homes.

Patterns, fabric and Velcro will be provided. Please bring sharp scissors and straight pins. If you have fabric pieces (polyester and cotton) 30 inches long x 44 inches wide please bring these along as well. For anyone wishing to sew that day there will be several sewing machines and thread available at the church.

Individuals will be needed to cut out the protectors, sew, trim and turn the protectors and attach two Velcro pieces.

If you will be unable to attend on the October 14th, but would like to participate, please contact Marilyn Fox at 226-4710 or Robin Cable at 226-5273 for materials and instructions so that you can work on protectors at home.

This will be an ongoing local mission project. We hope to see you on October 14th!
